 Gene Toncray, 60, of Ft. Myers, FL passed away October 26, 2011. A resident 
of Ft. Myers for over 45 years, he was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia to 
Ernest and Claire Toncray. He was a retired elementary school teacher and most 
recently a professional storyteller.
 He is survived by his wife of 37 years, a son , two daughters, brother and 
two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.
 A memorial service will be held at Tice United Methodist Church on Sunday, 
November 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Cherie Chapman officiating. 
Donastions may be made to the Hope Hospice or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. 
Arrangements in care of Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services.
