 Helen Toomey, 108. fomerly of Sanibel, Florida passed away peacefull on May 
3, 2012. Helen was born in Brooklyn, Iowa in 1903. She earned her degree at 
the University of Southern California and the University of Iowa.
 She worked as a legal secretary from many years in Iowa and Florida. She 
retired to Sanibel in 1975 and later moved to Sun City Center, in Florida to 
be closer to her great-granddaughter. 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Paul, her brother Harold, 
sister Frances and son, Reed.
 Helen is survived by her daughter-in-law, three grandsons and one great-
granddaughter.
 Arrangements are private.
