He was born on August 13, 1933 in Port Chester, New York to the late Albert and Eleanor Tual. Le Roy is survived by his wife of 56 years, four children,two sons and two daughters and their spouses. He is also survived by a brother, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. LeRoy met his wife while he was stationed in the Army at Ft. Benning Georgia at the close of the Korean War. They married in 1955 and moved to Greenwich, CT where they lived for fifty years and raised their children. LeRoy retired from playing softball when he was 59 years old and diagnosed with prostrate cancer. Le Roy continued to battle cance but in the end succombed to ALS. LeRoy retired from IBEW White Plains, New York after 25 years of service. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 12, at 1 p.m at the Cape Baptist Church, Cape Coral. A celebration of LeRoy's life will be held in the spring at Greenwich Baptist Church, Greenwich, CT. Lee County Cremation is assisting with the arrangements.
