 Richard P. Volpe, 62, passed away December 5, 2011. He was born May 5, 1949 
in Las Vegas, Nevada to the late Peter and Marion (Montana) Volpe.
 He and his wife moved to Lee County in 2005 from New Jersey. He was a member 
of Local 638 Steamfitters Union in New York City. One of Ricard's 
accomplishments during his career was to provide protection in the World Trade 
Center buildings. 
 There will be a visitation Friday from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at Fort 
Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 AM with 
interment to follow in Fort Myers Memorial
