 William R. Walker of Cape Coral, FL passed away on February 16, 2012 at the 
age of 94.
 Bill was born in West Middlesex, PA on December 18, 1917 to Thomas Wade and 
Hazel Ellison Walker. He is survived by his wife of 66 years,his three 
children and their families, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
 Bill was an Eagle Scout and had a passion for golf whe his father converted a 
family farm into the Tam-O-Shanter Golf Course. He graduated from the 
University of Alabama with a degree in aeronautical engineering. While there 
he earned his pilot's license . He worked for Lockheed in Van Nuys, CA after 
WWII and it was there where he met his wife. He then worked in New York and 
spent the rest of his career in the aeronautical industry. In 1973 he moved to 
Miami to open Sundstarnd's Sales and Service Office and retired in 1984 and 
moved to Cape Coral, FL. Bill was also a mason for over 70 years and was a 
member of the Araba Shrine Temple in Ft. Myers, FL.
 A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on March 3, 2012 at Cape Coral 
First United Methodist Church, Cape Coral.
