 Robert Donald Wheeler, 58, of Lehigh Acres, FL passed away on March 1, 2012 
at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres. He was born in Fort Myers, FL in November of 
1953. He was a graduate of Riverdale High School in 1973. He joined the U.S 
Army, and served from 1973-1984. He served during the Vietnam Era and was 
stationed in Germany for several years and across the United States. He was an 
E6 SSGT in field Artillery and was honorably dischardged in 1983. 
 He is survived by his children,three daughters and a son and their families, 
his mother two brothers, sister and grandmother, aunts, uncles and nieces and 
nephews.
 He was preceded by son, Robert D. Wheeler Jr., Father; Harold Wheeler; 
Grandfather, Henry Wheeler; Grandmother, Julia Wheeler Kilberg; Grandfather 
William Alabritton, Grandmother,Mertie (Taylor) Albritton.
 Memorial Service will be at Anderson Funeral Home of Lehigh Acres on Monday, 
March 5, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. Internment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery 
in Sarasota, Fl at a later date.
