 Judith Ann Widdicombe, 73, died in her sleep in Thursday, November 3, 2011. 
Trained as a labor and delivery nurse Judy helped form Clergy Consultation 
Service to assist women with crisis pregnancies. In 1973, immediately after 
Roe v. Wade was decided, Judy opened Reproductive Health Servies, a non-profit 
abortion provider committed to offering all women full options counseling and 
abortion services on a sliding scale.Judy advocated for reproductive health, 
and maternal and child health services in Jerrerson City and D.C then moved to 
Florida where she returned to nursing as a hospice nurse. Judy came back to 
St. Louis in May.
 Judy was the loving mother of three children and many grandchildren. She was 
the sister to her departed brother John McWhorter and daughter of the late 
Herbert & Helen McWhorter. 
 Memorial service to be announced at a later date.
