 Your earthly days are over; restless nights have passed. God received you in 
His arms and whispered peace at last. Gary Lamar Wilkes left home for heaven 
on December 30, 2011. 
 He was born in Bartow, FL on November 7, 1954. He graduated from Hartow High 
in 1972 and entred the Navy, serving on the USS Flint. After his service to 
his country, he attained an AS degree from Polk State College in Winter Haven, 
Florida and a Construction Management Degree from Florida International 
University in Miami. 
 He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, four sons and their families,second 
wife and her three children, mother, father, stepfather, stepmother, and three 
half brothers, two step-sisters and many extended family members.
 The celebration of Gary's life will be held on Wednesday, January 4 at 10:00 
AM at Next Level Church, Ft. Myers. A military service, date to be announced 
at the memorial, will be held at Sarasota Floriday National Cemetery, 
Sarasota, FL. 
 Although wer are not together, we will never be apart because you will always 
hold a special place in all your loved ones hearts. your voyage is now over, 
the boat has reached the shore, the anchor has been set and peace is yours 
once more. Life is eternal, love will remain, In God's own time, we will meet 
again.
