Both lived in Leon County during many of the same years, their farms were but a short distance apart and they both moved to Florida from Halifax County, N.C. Six weeks after the first publication of this notice, the undersigned will make application to the Honorable Judge of Probate for Leon County for letters of administration on the estate of John D. Branch, deceased, late of said county. D. W. Gwynn. November. 15, 1881 -- 6w Curator's sale. Notice is hereby given that the perishable property of the estate of John D. Branch, deceased, consisting of corn, water, hogs, cattle and other articles, will be sold on Friday, the 25th inst., at the late residence of the said Branch, on the Miccosukee Road, 10 miles from Tallahassee.
