Bailey -- if you or that gentleman is in doubt about my solvency to satisfy the judgement, you labor under a mistake, and if you will meet me in Tallahassee, I will pay you the amount, as I wish Capt. Taylor to be troubled no further in the matter, let me know by the boy if you consider this satisfactory. Signed John Edwards"
