Carolyn Ervin Hand, 86, of Tallahassee. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Sam 
Hand St. of Tallahassee; two sons, Sam Hand Jr. of Tallahassee, and Steve Hand 
of Umatilla; three brothers, Richard W. Irvin Jr. of Tallahassee, Robert M. 
Ervin of Tallahassee and Benjamin H. Irvin of Monticello; sister Ruth  Davis of 
Marianna; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. 

Additional Comments:
She was a teacher at the University of Florida in Jackson and Pinellas 
counties. Also employed with the Secretary of State's Office and the 
Legislative Library.



A member of East Hill Baptist Church/



Funeral services held at the church with burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
