King family moved from Butler, Georgia to Lake Butler, Florida in 1866. Six Years later, they moved to the Lebanaon area. Members of the fmaily were his wife, Eliza Ann Stephens King, his daughter, Mary Alice King, and his sons, Richard Thomas King and Charles Edward King. In 1887, Richard Thomas King married Lucinda (Cindy) Allender Munden from Elsey, Floirda. They had seven children who were named Lola Irene, Barnard Lamar, Raymond Malcolm, Nettie Viola, Hugh Milton, Marian Lula, and Robert Lee. Thomas King was a wheel-wright and buggy-maker. His son, Richard Thomas (Tom) King, logged cedar trees used to make pencils. Dolomite, a tan-colored mineral, was discovered on the the property. It was mined and sold for agricultural uses. The family homesteaded and bought land in this area -- a total of more than 3,000 acres. This plague is presented in honor of Robert Lee King, the only living son of Richard Thomas King, on the occasion of his 90th birthday, November 29, 1994. Lee King has been responsible for the upkeep of the King family cemetary for the past sixty-odd years. Directions: Go north 6.4 miles from intersection of US19 and CR 40, turn west for .25 miles on dirt road, then turn south for 100 yards to chain link fence.
