D. One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seventeen, personally appeared before me, a Notary Public in and for the County and State aforesaid Roxie Ann Higginbotham a resident of Williston, County of Levy, State of Florida, who being duly sworn according to law, makes the following declaration in order to obtain a pension under the provisions of Chapter 6818, Laws of Florida, approved June 4, 1915. That she is the widow of Aaron J. Higginbotham who was enlisted under the name of Aaron J. Higginbotham on the ____ day of ____, 1863 in Company K 2nd Fla. Infantry Regiment of the State of Florida and who was honorably discharged at ____, 1865, on account of Close of War. (Here give complete statement of other service, if any.) That he also served in Company G and discharged 1863 on account of Wounds, and was later enlisted as above. (State here if husband drew a pension, and when.) For proof of Husband's service see #77 of 1907. That she was lawfully married to the said Aaron J. Higginbotham under the name of Roxie Ann Lee in the County of Levy, State of Florida on the 18th day of July, 1908, and that she was not divorced from him, and that she has not remarried since his death, which occurred on the 3rd day of April 1910, in the State of Florida. That she is a resident of Levy County, Florida, and has continuously resided in the State of Florida all her life. That she does not own property, including real estate, personal property, mortgages or other collateral securities, stocks or bonds in this or any other State to exceed in value the sum of Five Thousand Dollars. Higginbotham, white and Miss Roxie Ann Lee, white and that you make return of the same, duly certified under your hand, to the County Judge, aforesaid.
