Bailey stabs Father and Brother, Seriously Woulds a Negro Woman and Kills Himself. A shooting tragedy occurred at Moseley Hall in this county Monday afternoon in which L. H. Mailey and his son, Minford, received severe stab woulds with a knife in the hand of their son and brother, Isaac D. Bailey, Charlsie Rowe, a negro woman, was seriously shot, from the effects of which she will die, and Isaac Bailey, the assailant of all, lies dead from a gun shot would self inflicted. From Mr. Joe. Hineley who came up to Madison Tuesday night we learn the following particulars of the sad occurrence. Isaac Bailey, who was a young white man, of about 25 years of age, got drunk Sunday and went to his home with a gun which he flourished about in a dangerous manner. His father and brother attempted to take the gun from him and did so, but Isaac turned upon them with a knife and infliced stab wounds upon each, which are not, however, serious. Isaac was overpowered by his father and brother who bound him securely leaving him in this condition until Monday when, he seemeing to be rational and sober, was released. Young Isaac then went to a neighbor's house and borrowing a gun went to the house of the negro woman, Charlsie Rowe, and calling her out fired upon her with one barrel of the gun inflicting a wound from which it is said she will die. Then turning the gun upon himself Isaac pulled the trigger and his immediate death was the result. The terrible affair is greatly regretted and the family of the unfortunate young man has the sympathy of the entire community.
