J. T. Hamner Benjamin Flowers passed away after a brief ??? ?? last Thursday evening. He had been fast declining in years and strength and therefore his death was not wholly unexpected. It is sad to give up loved ones but we must humbly bow to the will of the creator. He was born April 21, 1836 and served through the civil war. He died Jun 13, 1912. He leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his loss. Among them is Mrs. J. T. Hamner, his daughter, who stood by his dying pillow and administered every care possible. Other relatives were anxious and did all they could. His remains were interred in Ebenezer Cemetery Friday p.m. A large concourse of friends and relatives followed it to the last resting place. We extend our deepest sympathies.
