Death of an Old Citizen

   At the residence of his daughter, Mrs. R. E. Dickinson, yesterday afternoon,
Mr. L. A. M. Thomas departed this life after an illness of several weeks. About
sixty years of age Mr. Thomas came to this county from Georgia and has resided
here almost the entire time since. At the time of death, he was in his 78th
year. He leaves a large family of children and grandchildren besides other
relatives and friends to mourn his death. We extend condolences to the afflicted
ones.

   Funeral will be held from the residence this afternoon and the interment will
be in the city cemetery.
