He was about 65 years old and had resided in this county for a number of years, respected among his fellow men for his uprightness and strict integrity of character. He was a consistent member of the Primitive Baptist church at Mt. Horeb, where his remains were interred Wednesday afternoon. He had been a great sufferer for the last few years of his life, and death was doubtless welcomed by him when it came. He was a good citizen and our county is the loser by his death.
