Michael E. Moats, 53, of Weirsdale. Survivors include his fiancée, Diana Shears 
of Belleview; parents, Paul and Hilda Moats of Weirsdale; a daughter, Caytee 
Baker of San Diego; two sisters, Patricia Davis of Micanopy and Beverly 
Cochrane of Huntersville, N.C.; and a brother, Paul A. of Minneola.

Additional Comments:
He was a self-employed carpenter and a Catholic.



Also an Army veteran in Vietnam serving with the 101st Airborne Division.



Memorial service held at the funeral home with Fr. James MacLoughlin 
officiating.
