Survivors include his wife, Mae; daughter, Rosamond Brooks of Ocala; sons, Joe of Mount Dora and Donald L. of Newberry; sisters, Estelle Nelson of Williston, Geraldine Hagerman of Odessa and Mattalene Wicker of Sanford, N.C.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Additional Comments: He was a retired farmer,salesman and postal carrier from Ocklawaha. He was a mrmber and deacon of First Baptist church of Summerfield, and was a Sunday School teacher. Funeral services held at the cvhurch with the Rev. J.Donald Newman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens under the direction of Hiers Belleview Funeral Home.
