PORT ST. LUCIE - Margaret "Peggy" Keenan Krauss, 88, of Port St. Lucie died 
Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, in Brighton Gardens.
        
A native of Brooklyn , N.Y., she lived in Florida since 1963. She moved here 
from Massapequa, N.Y.
        
Before retirement, she was a food service manager for Slater Systems, 
Brooklyn, for 25 years.

She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Port St. Lucie, and its bell 
choir.
        
She was a longtime member of the German American Club, Port St. Lucie.
        
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter E. Krauss, in 1981.
        
Survivors include a son, W. Paul Krauss of Lake Forest , Ill.; a daughter, M. 
Dolores Benvenuto of Key West ; a brother, Christopher W. Keenan of Wantagh , 
N.Y.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
        
A service will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Port St. 
Lucie.
        
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Jensen Beach.
        
Those who wish may contribute to a charity of choice.
        
Arrangements are under the direction of Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart.
