VERO BEACH - Opal May Wells, 95, of Vero Beach, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, at 
VNA Hospice.
        
A native of Ashland, Ohio, she lived in Vero Beach for a year. She moved here 
from Englewood, Fl.
        
Before retirement, she was a bank bookkeeper in Ashland.
        
She attended the First Church of God, Vero Beach. She was a member of First 
Church of Brethren, Ashland, and taught Sunday school there.
        
She was predeceased by two husbands, Milo Brown and Emmett Wells.
        
Survivors include a sister, Margaret Reed of Lakeland, Fla., and Ashland; four 
nieces, Sandra Jansen and husband Jack of Vero Beach, Cindy Rogers and husband 
John of Ashland, Shirley Boyd of Denair, Calif., and Joann Gangos of Huron, 
Ohio.
        
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at the Lemon Bay 
Funeral Home, Englewood.
