Enumerator: Joseph S. Sanchez, Marshall for the Eastern District of Florida
 
[Note: The Second Seminole War was raging at this time, so the total population of the county was only 73.  
Most of the early settlers had fled the region.  It is interesting that no slaves were enumerated by Sanchez, 
having either been evacuated by their owners or liberated by the Seminoles.]
