Bassinger Cemetery is located in NW Okeechobee County, Florida at approximately 81 degrees 
12 minutes W Longitude and 27 degrees 34 minutes N Latitude.  It is approxmiately 16 NW of 
Okeechobee, Florida.  From the intersection of US 441 & US 98 in downtown Okeechoobee, go 
west and north on US 98 approximately 16 miles miles to the unincorporated settlement of 
Bassinger.  There is a metal roadsign that points to the cemetery, which is on the left of 
US 98 as you drive west and north. 

There are a few unmarked graves, which were not counted.  All tombstones were recorded with
a digital camera and the full set of photos plus this text file with this data will be placed 
in the Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Utah, for public use.  Survey taken January 14, 2005. 

This is only a partial survey.  I estimate that only 25-33% of the graves are in this survey.
I started the survey in the SE corner of the cemetery and worked northward.

markers are easily destroyed by mowers and other equipment and may disappear over time.
