D. Enyart, of Rollins College, were grieved to hear of the sad death of his father, Mr. James H. Enyart Monday afternoon. Mr. Enyart had been suffering from paralysis for the last three years but had not been seriously ill until a week ago, when he was confined to his bed. The funeral took place at the Enyart home in Winter Park and was private. The interment will be made in the Winter Park cemetery and Dr. W. F. Blackman, ex-president of Rollins College, conducted.the services. Several young men from the deans' fraternity acted as pallbearers; they were Messrs. R. Greene, A. J. Hanna, C. G. Tilden, J. I. Noxon, L. D. Lewis, and O. R. Heydricb. Carey Hand, of Orlando, was in charge of the buria1 arrangements. Mr. Enyart was born March 4, 1844, in Middletown, Ohio, and entered the war when only seventeen years of age, serving in the 93rd Ohio volunteer infantry with distinction. In 1869 he married Miss Susan MacArter, of Dayton, Ohio, and was engaged in business in Dayton and in Delaware, Ohio, until the death of Mrs. Enyart which occurred in 1912. The family then moved to Boston, but Mr., Enyarts' health did not seem to improve and so the trip to Florida was made in the hope that a warmer climate might prove beneficial. Mr., Enyart was a devout Christian. He was a member of the Methodist church and possessed a character respected and loved by all. He leaves two children, Miss E. Ethel and Arthur Delano, dean of Rollins College. Many expressions of profound sympathy have been extended to the dean and his sister by their numerous friends here.
