Orlando Sentinel, 11 July 1971
Mr. Joseph W. Lively, 93, 1401 E. Harding, died Friday.

A native of Oglethorpe County, Ga., he moved to Central Florida in 1925.  He 
was a retired carpenter and a member of North Park Baptist Church.

Survivors: aughters, Mrs. T.E. Carter, Mrs. Ernest Carter, Mrs. Ethel 
Porterfield, Mrs. Frank Farmer, all of Orlando, Mrs. C.W. Lee, Lithonia, Ga.; 
son, Joseph, Orlando; sister, Mrs. Mary Carrington, Comer, Ga.; five 
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Fairchild Funeral Home, Lake Ivanhoe.

Additional Comments:
Separate funeral notice of serviced to be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 12th, at 
the Fairchild Chapel, with Rev. C.J. Abernathy officiating.  Interment to 
follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park.  Pallbearers: S.L. Blair, W.C. 
Wise, S.L. Hathcock, J.R. Stephens, A.C. Santo, and W.O. Fox.
