Brown Sr., 71, Simmons Road, Orlando, died Monday, Dec. 29, of pneumonia. Mr. Brown was a retired pressman for The Orlando Sentinel. Born in Orlando, he was a lifelong resident. He was Baptist. He was also a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Letha M.; sons, George L. Jr., DeBary, Jerry W., Orlando; daughters Patricia A. Solomon, Rebecca S. Nolen, both of Orlando, Peggy L. Fazio, Ocoee; sisters, Pauline Curl, Winter Garden, Lucille Worthington, Dayton Ohio; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, Orlando.
