Directions: At the Southeast corner of the Intersection of St Joe Road 
and Old St Joe Road. On the East side of Old St Joe Rd. Located near the 
center of the cemetery and at the base of a statue of Christ on The Cross, 
is a small plaque; Properties donated to Sacred Heart Catholic Church by 
August Gerner & Family   1891 & Tom Ed Oakley & Family 1986.

One of the nicer cemeteries in Pasco Co. Though small, it is situated on 
about 5 acres of rural land that is almost completely surrounded by citrus 
groves. In the Springtime, the smell of orange blossoms fill the air and 
reminds one of a  Florida long gone. Several large Oak trees give the gift 
of shade in the summer and one oak especially, shades the small grave of a 
young girl, a child if you will, cut down before she had a chance to really 
live. The man that took her life has never been found. But, Hope springs 
eternal and God, Our Creator, knows his name.
