I Daniel Wesa, aged 35 years, occupation farmer, do declare on oath that my personal description is: Color white, complexion light, height 5 feet 9 inches, weight 175 pounds, color of hair light, color of eyes blue, other visible distinctive marks scar on left side of nose; I was born in Mikkeli, Finland, on the 6th day of September, anno Domini 1879: I now reside at Port Richey, Pasco Co., Florida. I emigrated to the United States of America from Finland (Russia) to England, through Canada then to United States at Escanaba, Michigan; my last foreign residence was Mikkeli, Finland. It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, sovereignty, and particularly to Nicholis II, Emperor of all the Russian's, of which I am now a subject; I arrived at Escanaba in Michigan, in the State of Michigan on or about the 26 day of February, anno Domini 1903; I am not an anarchist: I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy; and it is my intention in good faith to become a citizen of the United State of America and to permanently reside therein: SO HELP ME GOD.
