FUNERAL NOTICE; Fannie Lou Simmons-Romine 73, of Dade City, died Tuesday Aug. 
29, 2000 in Lakeland. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. 
Catherine Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Graham officiating. Burial will 
follow at Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City. A native of Texasville, Ala., she 
had been a life resident of Dade City. She is survived by her husband, John 
Romaine; daughters, Patsy Arnold of Bushnell, and Linda McCullough of Coleman; 
sons, Grady Strickland Jr. of Tucson, Ariz., Leon Strickland of Marietta, Ga., 
Darril Strickland of Lakeland and Bruce Strickland of Dade City; brother, Sam 
Holand of Montgomery, Ala.; sister, Jeanette Shira of San Bernardino, Calif.; 
18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
