The church and its cemetery was constructed on property donated by Pinellas pioneer Captain James Felix Tucker and his wife Virginia Bailey Tucker in 1912. The interments were recorded by Pinellas Genealogy Society Chairperson Lesleigh Laite Butts on December 1, 1998.
