Bartow Courier-Informant October 31, 1900
J.M. Griffin left Thursday for Fort Drum in Brevard County to look after his 
interests over there, and incidentally to pick and ship a fine crop of 
oranges.  He expects to close up his business here and move to his new home in 
January.  His father Mr. George Griffin accompanied him on the trip.
