Lakeland Ledger, Mar 2, 1950
Was 74 years of age.  Born in Sumpter County (Florida). Moved to Auburndale at 
age four.  Member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Auburndale.  Wife died 
(1919).  

Survivors:  Sons Earl and Claude Griffin; Daughters, Mrs. Bert Traylor, Mrs. 
George Whidden, Mrs. Paul Whidden, and Mrs. Narcissus Warren, Sisters, Mrs. 
Narcissus Combee, Mrs. Emma Combee, Mrs. James Norman and Mrs. Morgan 
Reynolds.  

Additional Comments:
George Thoma Griffin was the son of George W. and Narcissa (Black) Griffin.  
He is bured in Collins Cemetery, Polk County, Florida.
