Sidney Geer Vars, Jr., 81, of Davenport. survivors include his wife, Grace E.; 
and sister, Elizabeth Bradley of Norwich, Conn.

Additional Comments:
he was a retired electrician and a Protestant.

He also seved in the U.S. Army in WWII.

A memorial service held at the funeral home with Rev. John Scott officiating.
