Adrian Hewett Whitcomb, 88, of Bartow. Survivors include his wife, Edith D.; 
daughters, Elizabeth Ellis of Lakeland, Edna Harrison of Newport News, Va., and 
Susan Harlin of Forth Worth, Texas; sons, Adrian H. Whitcomb, Jr. of Newport 
News, Va.; and John Whitcomb of College Station, Texas; six grandchildren; amd 
three great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a retired mechanical engineer for the Civil Service Navy Department.



Also a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church in Lakeland.
