Preservation of this cemetary is due their extensive research, as well as court orders dating back to 1889. "Graveyard is to remain for public use forever". The W.P.A. listing says, "From the court house in Milton go south on Robinson Point dirt road for 6 miles to cemetery which lies 16 ft to the right (west) of the road." The W.P.A. listing states Jesse LEWIS, Pvt Co A 5th Fla Inf, C.S.A. 1804 - 1898 is buried there. The exact number of graves sites is unclear. Estimates range from ten (10) to twenty (20) grave sites on the property. Due to deliberate and illegal destruction of many headstones, only two cement vaults are still visible.
