To have and to hold unto the said Collins his heirs and assigns in fee simple forever. And I the said Thomas M Nelson do hereby covenant to and with the said Collins his heirs and assigns that I will and my heirs executors and administrators shall warrant and defend the title to the aforegranted premises to the said Collins his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whomsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this the 17th day of December AD 1870. In presence of } G G McWhorter } signed Thomas M Nelson {seal} W S Hardy } State of Florida } Personally appeared before me Santa Rosa County} I A Chaffin Clerk of Circuit Court in & for said county George G McWhorter who after being sworn in due form of law deposes & says that he saw Thomas M Nelson sign seal & deliver the foregoing instrument of writing for the uses purposes & considerations therein mentioned and that he signed as a witness and saw W S Hardy do the same.
