GLADYS LORINA UPHOLD BENNETT
1930-2008

Gladys Lorina Uphold Bennett, age 78, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008. 
Mrs. Bennett was a longtime resident, living in Santa Rosa County for the past 
36 years. She was retired from the Eckerd Youth Alt. Inc. and the Leader for 
12 years with the Florida District, Sect 1, Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member 
of the First Pentecostal Church in Bagdad, FL.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by her husband of 56 years, Manuel Lee Bennett; her 
daughters, Sheila L. Edgecumbe and Renee L. VunKannon; sister, Betty J. 
Toothman; grandchildren, Cassandra (Tracy) Hobbs, Michele (Michael) Jackson, 
Jennifer R. Edgecumbe; and great-grandchildren, Shai and Cheyanna Jackson, 
Ashlee, Tracy and Jared Hobbs.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bennett will be 1:00PM, Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 
Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel with Rev. Danny Pitts, Rev. Curtis Powell, 
and Rev. Jimmy Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in United Pentecostal 
Church of Berrydale. Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00PM, Friday, August 29, 
2008 at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.

The family requests donations be made in Mrs. Bennett's memory to Brentwood 
UPC, for, Mother's Memorial, UPC International Missions, 5416 Sun Valley Dr., 
Pensacola, FL 32505.
