"Although a new brick school building had been constructed and was first used this 
term, the wonderful growth of Vero had already made the new building too small to 
accommodate the pupils enrolled before the term was fairly begun.  As the enrollment
for the term just ended was 317 pupils, it is easy to see that the present building
will be utterly inadequate for the next term."

"Among the numerous improvements secured for the school were a complete equipment 
for the stage in the auditorium and the beginning of a school library, which now 
has some 200 volumes."
