T. Jenkins transacted business at the county seat last Friday. Mrs. E. L. Barker visited her daughter, Mrs. Abstein, at Fort Pierce, last week. Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Poppell transacted business in Wabasso the first of the week. Mr. J. R. Fletcher went South the first of the week to engage in pineapple culture. "It's a perfect beauty," is what all visitors say of Mr. J. L. Chambers' banana patch. Miss Janie McCall is spending a few days with Mrs. Jenkins while Mr. Jenkins is away. We are pleased to note that Miss Ella M. Wigfield is improving, and hope for her speedy recovery. W. N. Reams and F. C. Poppell are engaged in the laundry business under the firm name of Reams & Co. The "do about," J. T. Jenkins, not satisfied with his trip to Fort Pierce Friday, left Sunday for Eau Gillie to spend a few days. Mrs. K. M. Tedder and her daughters, Misses Ada, Ruby, and Pearl, are visiting their son and brother, M. N. Tedder at Tillman. Additional Comments: Narrows is right on the St. Lucie-Martin County Line.
