Frink, Sr., of South 16th street. The announcement came as a complete surprise to their friends. The Rev. G.H. Moore, D.D., of the First Baptist church, performed the ceremony. The affair was effectively revealed by a tiny bride and bridegroom on place cards that marked places for Dr. Moore, Miss Lorraine Mims, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Pittman, Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Thomas of Wilmington, N.C., Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Thomas, Miami; Mrs. Carolyn Thomas, Newark, N.J.; Mrs. Jeanette Wilson-Thomas, Jacksonville; Dr. R.W. Triot and daughter, Miss Mary Holmes of Brunswick, Ga.; Mrs. G. W. Holmes, Deland, and Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Frink, Jr., Okeechobee. Both Mr. and Mrs. Frink have a wide circle of friends in this city. Mrs. Frink, who is a graduate of the Florida State College for Women at Tallahassee, comes from Plant City and is a member of the school faculty of White City. Mr. Frink is of the Frink Furniture Co., of this city, and is an active member of the First Baptist church congregation. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ (Saint Lucie County News-Tribune January 13, 1928) Bride Rides in Wheelbarrow Pushed Through Streets by Husband Mr. and Mrs. Loys Frink were greeted last night on their return from their wedding trip by a number of friends who gave them a real charivari. The young bridegroom was made to wheel his charming wife in a wheelbarrow from the Arcade building on Orange avenue, to Second street, and back up Avenue A to Fourth street. They were followed by an enthusiastic gallery. Still the torturers were not satisfied so they tied the young couple on the front of a car and toured the city. Following this hilarity the party went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Pittman on Okeechobee road where supper was enjoyed. Besides Mr. and Mrs. Frink and their host and hostess there was Mr. and Mrs. J.F. King, the Misses Lorraine Mims, Alice Sue Frink, Lily Mac Lott, Minnie Holley, Ruth Abstein, Marie Abstein, Evelyn Shelton, Lorraine Yates, Helen McSween, Helen Yates, Elaine James, Ann Holly, Doris Yates, Emma Lou Maund, Messrs. Otis Alford, Emmet Windsor, Wallace Osteen, Durant Frink and R.E. Rowan. Mr. and Mrs. Frink were secretly married Jan. 7, 1928 The announcement was made last Sunday. Mrs. Frink was formerly Miss Elizabeth Holloway.
