Deacon Sylvester Britt,58, of Bushnell. Survivors include his wife Mertice; 
sons, Carl Stephens of Bushnell and Alphonso of Bristol; daughters,  Virginia 
Thomas and Erika Stephens, both of Leesburg; and nine grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was owner of S. M. Britt Hauling Company and a member of St. James Baptist 
church, Bushnell.



Funeral services held at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Leesburg with the Rev. 
A. E. Middleton, pastor officiating.



Burial in South Sumter Evergreen Cemetery, Bevilles Corner, under direction of 
Zanders Funeral Home, Apopka.
