Joe D. "Buddy" Merritt, 80, of Bushnell, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 at St. 
Petersburg. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Fredna; children, Sabrina 
(Randy) Baker of Wildwood, Cheryl (Phil) Sanchez of Treasure Island, and Derl 
Merritt of Lake Panasoffkee. Visitation was at the Purcell Funeral Home Chapel 
on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010 from 5:30 to 7:30p.m.. A Masonic Service was at 
7:30 p.m. Services were at the First Baptist Church of Bushnell on Friday, 
Nov. 19, 2010 at 2 p.m., Pastor Aaron Burgner presided. Interment followed at 
Sunterville Cemetery, Sumterville. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to 
Lane Purcell Hospice c/o Cornerstone Hospice,2445 Lane Park RD., Tavares, Fl. 
32778. Online condolences may be left at www.purcellfuneralhome.com.
