John Wesley Rivers, 61, of Wildwood. Survivors include his wife, Brenda; sons 
John Jr., of Canton Ohio and Cory of Fort Drum, N.Y.; daughters, Deborah of 
Waldorf, Md., Nichelle of Daytona Beach and Fanika Lee of Wildwood; brothers, 
Arthur Harry, and Billie, all of Wildwood and Isom Jr. "Chuck" of Orlando; 
sister, Jean Simmons of Wildwood; four grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a teacher with the Sumter County School District. Also a member of Mount 
Moriah AME Church. 



Funeral services hed at the High School Gymnasium with the Rev. Henry L. 
Postell conducting.



Burial in Wildwood Community Cemetery .
