I fix a spelling error were possible but the way it is written in the Document is the way you will find them in the Courthouse. You will also note that Sumter County use to be spelled with a ( P ) in it (eg: Sumpter) as you will find in the document's. Judge of Probate of Sumpter County, Fla.} Sir; The undersigned Surities on the Bond of G.R.( George R. ) Mobley, Administrator of the Estate of John Mobley - deceased being desirous that said Estate should be settled up: And whereas G.R. ( George R. ) Mobley admittly volunteered in Capt. W.W. Sloan, Company of the 7th Fla, Regt. and accompanied said Regt. into the State of Kentucky and is reproted to having been taken prisoner, at a time when considered at the Artical of Death, Confirnmation of said Report being apertained, and having heard no tidings- giving a reasonable hope that the said G. R. ( George R. ) Mobley is yet alive; And where as should the said G. R. ( George R. ) Mobley be yet living - that he is in an Enemy Country and rendered incompetent to Administor saod Estate of John Mobley according to Law; And where as the heirs at Law are very much in need of their respective share, and we the Securities being desirous of having the said Estate properly managed under the circumstances - for fear we may receive ( detrineut ) ? -should said Estate not be settled up according to law. We therefore recommened to you Hon. Court - it being in accordance of your Jurisdiction, that you do appoint some proper person to complete the Administration, and otherwise make a final Settlement of said Estate.
