New Smyrna News May 1, 1925
    One of the biggest real estate deals made in New Smyrna in many months was

the sale this week of the Alba Court Inn property at the corner of Washington

and Hillman streets by T. J. Taity to A. B. Farnsworth and James H. Butler of

Columbus, Ohio.



    The new owners have already taken possession and are now planning

improvements and alterationswhich will be made at once and the hotel kept open

during the summer months. The new owners of the Alba Court have some other

Florida holdings, but plan to make further investments in this community.



    It is understood that Mr. Taity will move to Daytona to look after his

property interests at that place.
