New Smyrna News May 1, 1925
    A congenial party enjoyed another of their occasional outings in the form of

a camping trip  to Lake Ashby over the week end, going out Saturday afternoon

and returning Sunday evening, camping over night on the banks of the lake. One

of the real pleasures of the trip was a radio entertainment Saturday evening and

another was hunting alligators in the lake at night. The party was made up of

the families of S. M. Veronee, J. E. Morris, M. W. Ashton, H. L. Rood, W. W.

Farnell, William Behne, L. Brockway and Geo. J. Ott, and Miss Irene Cunningham

and Steadman Robertson.
