Golder, aged 89 years. The deceased was one of the best known and most universally respected residents of Daytona. She was born in New York state in 1816 and was married to Joseph Golder in 1837. Mr. and Mrs. Golder came to Florida in 1882 and spent the winter at St. Augustine. The following year they came to Daytona and purchased a home. Their winters were spent here until the death of Mr. Golder which occurred in 1885. Mrs. Golder still continued to spend the winters here until the time of her death. The funeral services were held at the residence of the deceased at 11:15 p. m. Wednesday and were conducted by Revs. C. M. Bingham, Sr. and B. F. Marsh. The remains were taken to Sterling, Ill., for interment. Additional Comments: Volunteer transcription. Deceased not related to transcriber.
