Washington County News, December 6, 2004
Dessie Hutchins, 82, of Milton, Florida passed from this life on Saturday, 

December 4, 2004 in Milton.  She had resided in Milton since 1992, coming from 

Chipley.  She was of the Baptist faith.



Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 9, in the chapel of 

Brown Funeral Home on Main Street in Chipley with the Rev. Carlos Finch 

officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Cemetery with Brown 

Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, DEcember 

8, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.



Survivors include;  three sons, Thurman Hutchins and wife Susan of Milton, Rick 

Hutchins of Milton, and John Wayne Hutchins of Milton; one daughter Violetta 

Olsen and husband William of Milton; one brother, two sisters, many nieces and 

nephews, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-

grandchild.
