Cyclone Strikes Baxley

Baxley, Ga., March 27 – A cyclone struck the northern part of this county, 
totally demolishing the premises of Levi Youmans and Mrs. David R. Carter.  The 
wind blew at a fearful velocity.  It is a distance of ten miles between the 
Youmans and Carter places, and the cyclone appears to have struck the earth 
only at these spots.  Its path was only a few rods wide and nothing but utter 
ruin is now found in it.
