MRS. EFFIE WOLFE GIBSON, The Florida Times-Union 
Jacksonville, FL, April 2, 1983.

Mrs. Effie W. Gibson, 89, of 1214 LaBelle St., passed away
Thursday afternoon (31ST). She was a native of Appling Co.,
Ga., and had lived here for the past 38 years. She was a
member of the Ten Mile Baptist church in Baxley, Ga.
Survivors include, 3 daughters, Sarah Saunders, Lucille
Thomas, and Clara Valladares; 2 sons, Henry and Raymond
Gibson; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral
services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday in the Chapel of
Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd. With Rev. Jim
Brewer and Dr. Paul Wrenn officiating. Additional services
will be held at 3 P.M. in the Ten Mile Baptist Church in
Baxley with interment in the Church Cemetery.
